FREE EDUCATIONAL EVENT ON LYME DISEASE PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND LEGISLATION – GET TICKED OFF!
It is not uncommon for Lyme Disease to be misdiagnosed and for Lyme Disease tests to provide false negative results. Get informed. Stay Healthy!
Friends of a woman stricken with Lyme Disease, have come together to bring awareness of the dangers of Lyme Disease, the problems with the Lyme Disease test and the difficulties of getting medical treatment covered by Health Insurance. As our friend’s life begin to unravel due to her failing health, we have come to learn that with the proper knowledge, what happened to our friend may have been prevented.
When we learned that the award-winning documentary, Under Our Skin, a gripping tales of microbes, medicine and money was going to be screened at the Museum of Fine Arts Theater, we wanted to organize a FREE educational event after the August 9, 2009, 3:00 show.
