Week One:  September 13 - Overview of Life Force Energy and Hippocrates Approach to Optimum Health

-Preparation: Eggless Egg Salad Rollups

-HW: Read Chapter 2 & Water articles in Hippocrates magazine (this must be returned the following week); Watch DVDs – Food Combining, Meatrix & Water; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all

 

Week Two:  September 20 - The Living Food Kitchen

-Guest Speaker: Annie Margeson

-Preparation: Chia porridge with almond milk, smoothies

-HW:  Read Chapter 3; Watch DVDs – Delicate Balance & Sprouting; write and email to everyone your breakfast recipes for one week according to Hippocrates; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish with its recipe and email your recipe to all

 

Week Three:  September 27 - Indoor Sprouting for Fun and Nutrition

-Guest Speaker: Randy Jacobs, Founder and Director of Life Force Growers

-Preparation: Wheatgrass and the Hippocrates Green Drink (with juicer comparison)

-HW: Read Chapter 4; DVDs Fasting & Internal Awareness; Watch Dr. Robert Young, co-author of The pH Miracle, discusses juicing, hydration & pH balance: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuJrfYG7oh8&feature=player_embedded(42 minutes); plant and nurture your seeds and sprout your beans; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all

 

Week Four:  October 4 - Fasting and Internal Awareness

-Preparation: Nori Rolls

-HW: Read Chapter 5; Watch DVDs – Detox & Making A Killing; write and email to everyone  your appetizer recipes for one week according to Hippocrates; email everyone photos of your sprouts; test your pH first thing in AM; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all app

 

Week Five:  October 11 – Cleansing

-Guest speaker: Tom Lindsley

-Preparation: Avocado Spinach Soup

-HW: Read Chapter 6; Watch DVDs Living Matrix & Ancient and Current Self-Help Techniques; email everyone your soup recipes for one week according to Hippocrates; email everyone photos of your full-grown sprouts; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all

 

Week Six:  October 18 - Mind-Body Connection to Life Force Energy & the Life Within

-Guest Speaker: Karen Woeller

-Preparation: Kale, Carrot, Avocado Salad

-HW: Read Chapter 7; Watch 2 different DVDs on Supplements; write and email to everyone your salad and salad dressing recipes for one week according to Hippocrates; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all

 

Week Seven:  October 25 - Supplements and Enzymes

-Guest Speaker: Carla Finn

-Preparation: Pasta with Marinara Sauce (and having fun with gadgets and gizmos)

-HW: Read Chapter 8; Watch DVDs Healing Cancer & Simply Raw; write and email to everyone your entree recipes for one week according to Hippocrates; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all

 

Week Eight: November 1 - Holistic Medicine – Getting Support from the Healing Community -Guest Speaker: Joseph Lucier

-Preparation: Dehydration presentations of flax crackers, kale and green string beans

-HW: Read Chapter 9; Watch DVDs Practical Living & Bringing It All Home; write and email to everyone your dehydrated cracker or bread recipes for one week according to Hippocrates; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all

 

Week Nine: November 8 - Bringing It All Home

-Preparation: Fermenting presentations of Veggiekraut (with Hyanna Lappen)

-HW:  Read Chapters 10 – 15; Watch DVDs Food Matters & Processed People; write and email to everyone your dessert recipes for one week according to Hippocrates; test your pH first thing in AM; journal any thoughts or progress; bring your assigned dish and email the recipe to all dessert

 

Week Ten: November 15  - Graduation, Awards, Banquet & What’s Next?

-Preparation: Lemon Cheesecake
