Dr. Brian Clement and the Health Expo are returning to Waltham, MA (Boston metro area) on Sunday, March 1, 2015.

The keynote speaker at the expo is Dr. Brian Clement, the director of the world renowned Hippocrates Health Institute (HHI), in West Palm Beach, Florida. Clement, NMD, PhD, LN, is an international lecturer and author of numerous books on health, spirituality, natural healing and raw food vegan diet. He draws upon wisdom from the institute’s nearly sixty-year history of empowering people through complementary health care education.

His lecture is titled "Sugar Blues & The Cancer Connection" and will be followed by Q and A, plus a book-signing. Find out which seemingly healthy foods may be increasing your risk for cancer and other degenerative diseases, and what to eat instead to prevent sickness and to prolong life.

The Hippocrates Health Institute has deep New England roots. The institute started in Boston’s Back Bay in 1956. Dr. Clement worked with the founders, Ann Wigmore and Viktoras Kulvinskas. The Hippocrates mission “is to assist people in taking responsibility for their lives and to help them internalize and actualize an existence free from premature aging, disease and needless pain,” as described on their website.

SUPPORT REAL KIDS REAL FOOD

Support Real Kids Real Food

What We Are

Real Kids Real Food’s goal is to eliminate childhood obesity, chronic disease and malnutrition through after-school programs that promote healthy food choices and lifestyle changes, including:
  • Gardening and harvesting
  • Hands-on food preparation of delicious recipes
  • Learning about eating right & staying active
Publishing an E-teaching manual of our proven program with lesson plans, health tips and recipes will enable organizations to bring Real Kids, Real Food successfully to their communities. We need your help to bring wholesome, nourishing food to children everywhere!

Why It Matters

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, obesity has more than doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 years.
Age 1980 2012
Children 6-11 7% 20%
Children 12-19 5% 18%
In 2012, more than one third of children and adolescents were overweight or obese. 70% of obese youth had at least one risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Obese adolescents are more prone to pre-diabetes. Your contribution to this project will enable us to distribute our book nationwide to communities that have expressed a desire to launch this program. This will make a difference in the lives of thousands of children by preventing and reversing obesity, chronic disease and malnutrition. Now, that we have funding for the e-book, we ask your help to fund next year’s 11 month program from October 2014 to the end of August 2015 which includes Summer Camp. The cost of the program is $13,815. We are applying for grants, but can not count on them. Your help is desperately needed.

Founding of Real Kids Real Food

My passion for healing the world one person at a time began with my own recovery from crippling arthritis and substance abuse through the living food lifestyle. The Real Kids Real Food program began at the Martin Luther King School, located in Dorchester, MA. My adult classes, since 2008, are based on my book “Eat to Thrive-10 Weeks to Lifelong healthy habits and healthy living”. In these classes I address health issues and introduce a healthy lifestyle as well as train staff for Real Kids Real Food.

Mission

Optimum Health Solution is a non-profit (501 c3) devoted to feeding our children a healthy future. Our Mission Statement is to eliminate obesity, chronic disease and malnutrition, especially in children, through education and advocacy of healthy living.
